For our trip to Uganda in September we have a number of projects we are going to be involved in. One of the things we are most excited about is our partnership with the Lilly school and orphanage, where we will be setting up football coaching sessions for the children, with the aim of putting a permanent project in place. We also hope to be involved in the daily life of the school, taking a few lessons and generally helping out however we can. We will also be working with two churches in the area and, again, setting up long term sports ministries within the churches for the local young people. Some of the other organisations we will be working with include the Kampala School of Excellence and we will also be linking up with our good friends Kalanzi Moses of the Abato Foundation and Isaac Clancy of the One Day Film Company (who will be making a documentary about the projects). It promises to be a great trip!
